Data Use & Accuracy Policy

1. Purpose and scope

Quiet Advance is a business-intelligence tool built to help legitimate vendors understand the restaurant market and identify relevant businesses. This policy applies to all records, contacts, research, scoring, exports, and source links shown through the service.

2. Source and confidence labels

• Verified principal: the exact name disclosed in the relevant New York State Liquor Authority application record.
• Verified business phone: an NYC restaurant line matched to the exact restaurant name and premises address in a Department of Health and Mental Hygiene record. This label is currently available only for NYC records and never means a verified personal owner number.
• Public web contact: a phone, email, website, or profile published on a page that matches the business and premises. It is labeled separately and is not treated as a private or verified owner contact.
• Unverified contact: a possible match that has not met the applicable verification rule. It must not be represented as confirmed.
• Operator footprint: related venues found through an exact normalized principal-name match in official statewide NYSLA records. Common names and later ownership changes can still create uncertainty.

3. Permitted use

Active subscribers may use records and provided exports inside their own organization for internal market analysis, account planning, vendor territory research, and lawful, relevant business prospecting. Keep Quiet Advance’s source and confidence context with a record when it affects how the information should be understood.

4. Verify before acting

Public data changes, filings can be amended, and a published phone or profile may become outdated. Before relying on a record, contacting a person, or importing data into another system, confirm the business, role, contact channel, and any required consent. Signal scores rank freshness and completeness; they do not predict licensing, opening, purchasing intent, or creditworthiness.

5. Prohibited use

• Reselling, sublicensing, publishing, or distributing subscriber-only data or a substitute for the Quiet Advance database.
• Automated scraping, reverse engineering, systematic copying outside provided exports, bypassing access controls, or sharing credentials.
• Harassment, stalking, threats, deception, impersonation, fraud, identity theft, or attempts to discover private personal contact information.
• Presenting an unverified or business contact as a confirmed personal number, email, role, or owner identity.
• Decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, or another regulated eligibility purpose.
• Discrimination or targeting based on protected characteristics.
• Calls, texts, emails, or automated campaigns that violate consent, do-not-call, telemarketing, anti-spam, privacy, or other applicable law.

6. Corrections and review

To request a review, correction, or removal where appropriate, email alexela1.yelo1@gmail.com. Include the business name or application ID, the exact field, the reason it is inaccurate, and a supporting public source. We will review the evidence and may preserve a limited audit record needed for security, legal compliance, or to prevent the same error from recurring.

7. Enforcement

Quiet Advance may limit exports, suspend access, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe data is being misused, security is threatened, or this policy or law has been violated. Serious suspected abuse may be preserved and reported where legally appropriate.
